Dr. Stacey Kokell, DBA, MBA | Founder Institute for Professional Growth & Development
The Institute for Professional Growth & Development was founded on the belief that professional success requires more than technical skills alone.
Throughout my career in leadership, operations, business, and professional development, I have observed a common challenge: many talented individuals possess the knowledge and ability to succeed, yet often lack the professional skills, leadership foundations, confidence, and development opportunities needed to advance.
As a lifelong learner committed to both personal and professional growth, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). While these academic experiences expanded my knowledge, some of the most valuable lessons came through real-world leadership experiences, workplace challenges, difficult decisions, professional setbacks, and continuous personal development.
One lesson became clear:
Success is not determined by education alone.
Success is built through professionalism, accountability, communication, leadership, adaptability, sound judgment, and a commitment to continuous growth.
Throughout my career, I have seen highly talented individuals struggle to advance, while others continued to create opportunities for themselves and those around them. More often than not, the difference was not intelligence or experience alone. The difference was their ability to demonstrate professional excellence.
